Since I earned my certification with the American Council of Exercise over ten years ago, I never looked back. I love what I do because I have the privilege of empowering and inspiring people to live a healthy and fit lifestyle, thereby improving the quality of their life. It’s an honor that I am grateful for everyday.

I opened this training facility to help motivate people who have never exercised, have a difficult time exercising alone, or need motivation to reach their ultimate goals. I will coach, inspire and guide you in the right direction. Rest assured, you will never be bored and you’re going to have fun.

My attitude always reflects a willingness to go above and beyond what my clients’ expectations are. My clients will tell you that they have never done the same routine twice. They will also attest to the fact that their bodies are transformed after I work with them a few months. They trust me because I always deliver what I promise. I promise to challenge you and keep your muscles guessing. If you do your part, I also promise that your body will be transformed, you will have more energy and will be a more serene person. Whether you want to lose weight, tone up, increase your speed and agility or just want to develop self esteem inside and out, let me help you get there.

I am certified in the OhioHealth Delay the Disease program, which improves the physical, mental and emotional realities of Parkinson’s patients. I offer one on one training and group fitness classes, specifically geared toward the needs of people living with Parkinson’s Disease.

I am so grateful to love what I do, and I hope you give me a chance to help you change your life!

Growing up, fitness had always been a passion of mine. I have played soccer all of my life, as well as ran track in Junior High and High School. I am currently a student at Ohio University majoring in Communications and minoring in Coaching. I have been consistently training for the past three years working with student athletes on their speed agility and strength training. Within the past year, I have been working with clients as a part-time job, but I have come to the realization that this what I want to make my full-time career and spend the rest of my life doing what I love. I will be graduating in the spring of 2017. When I finish, I will work towards earning my certification through the American Council of Exercise. In the meantime while I am finishing up my Bachelor’s degree, I have accepted a position with the Pickerington North Soccer team as the Junior Varsity coach. My goal for my clients is for them to feel the best they can possibly feel and love themselves.

Fitness has always been a vital part of my life. I grew up dedicating a majority of my time to ice skating as a competitive athlete. My training usually consisted of 5-6 hours a day both on and off the ice working with National and Olympic coaches. Some of my competitive accomplishments include being the 2011 Regional champion, Jr. National and Sectional competitor, and first alternate to U.S. Nationals. After my competitive career, I became a professional ice skater when I was offered a contract from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines to ice skate/perform in ice shows. I have been touring around the world with Royal Caribbean for 4 years. I have my gold medals for moves in the field and freestyle skating which enables me to coach all levels of skating. I also earned the Scholar Athlete Award and the Gold Level Achievement Graduating Seniors Award from the United States Figure Skating Association.

In high school I earned my varsity letter for track and field and advanced to the MSL District finals in the 400m dash. I am an Exercise Science major at The Ohio State University and am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my passion and knowledge with others and am ecstatic to be apart of the Advanced Training family!

Lynsie Babcock
Lynsie BabcockYoga Instructor
I have been practicing yoga for 5 years on and off the mat, trying to create balance in my every day busy mom life. Getting onto my mat is a way for me to escape the chaos in my life, to focus on myself, and what I need to nurture my body. After discovering these amazing life tools that helped me become more in tune and centered within, I could not stop myself from sharing this magic with everyone and anyone that would listen. I went for my RYT-100 HR certification training this past January, and to be able to share what I am so passionate about has given my heart so much gratitude. As a forever student to this practice, I can not wait to continue my learning with more workshops, classes, training, and my home practice. The journey to the greatest version of yourself starts with being in the present moment.

Wendy received her training in Reiki from The Reiki Center in Columbus Ohio.

No matter what is going on in my life, this one hour of yoga is one of the highlights of my day. It is the one hour that I can work on ME – which is the best project I can ever work on. The yoga classes and instructors here genuinely care about their clients. They are enthusiastic, motivating and keep me coming back for more!
Heather
Thank you for providing a welcoming space! I have belonged to many “gyms” but have never felt as comfortable as when I walk into Advanced Training each Wednesday. I appreciate the physical, mental and spiritual growth I receive each week!
Amy P.
Just a note to say thank you for your outstanding hot yoga instruction. I had been wanting to try yoga for awhile and with encouragement from 2 of your clients (Cyndi T & Jill T.) – it happened! 🙂 As an avid cyclist I needed to increase my flexibility, but never imagined the deep breathing would also reduce my stress zone! The stretching poses have also reduced core weight, which is fabulous! Thanks again for your positive instruction for my “me time!” I’m hooked 🙂
